» A very rare American visitor to the Canary Islands, with only four records so far (including this one). This individual was discovered before in a different locality by a local observer (Francisco de la Cruz Alvarado). It was very tame, normally feeding together with a Bar-tailed Godwit and sometimes also with a Common Redshank.
