» Nest of the subspecies Burhinus oedicnemus insularum, endemic to the eastern islands and islets of the Canaries (Fuerteventura, Lobos, Lanzarote, La Graciosa, Alegranza and ocasionally Montaña Clara). It is quite common on Lanzarote.
