» This immature female (2nd calendar year) was seen some months after an important influx of the species in the Canary Islands (see several photos from the same site obtained by me in May 2015 and uploaded in AFBID). The age and sex of the bird in the image was confirmed by Dick Forsman, expert in raptor identification.
