Remarks

» This is one of two birds in the area at present. The species was extirpated in Tenerife Island as a breeding bird before 2010. From then there are irregular observations on the island, normally of only 1-2 individuals. The age of this bird was confirmed by Richard Chandler, an expert in shorebirds.
