» Image obtained during tour of AviFauna (Sweden), 5-15 November 2010. The bird was singing in response to the registered song play by us. Endemic species from the Cape Verde Islands which is locally common only in some sites and is considered endangered. It lives on Santiago, Fogo and S. Nicolau islands, and in the recent past was present also on Brava.
