Remarks

» This species breeds in the islets off Lanzarote (Montaña Clara, Alegranza, Roque del Oeste and Roque del Este), that are protected by law, as Natural Park and Strict Natural Reserve. The visits to the islets need special permission from the Government of the Canaries, the Council of Lanzarote and the land owners. The current local population of Eleonora's Falcon is of c. 300 breeding pairs.
