Remarks

» ssp. canariensis is endemic to Tenerife and La Gomera islands, while on Gran Canaria the recently described F. c. bakeri is present. Two additional subspecies occur in the archipelago, F. c. palmae (La Palma) and F. c. ombriosa (El Hierro).
