» This is one of the most commonly recorded American waders in the Canaries, but its presence is erratic and depends on the year. It was observed close to two other individuals of the same species and one Lesser Yellowlegs, in a clear "influx" of Nearctic species to the Macaronesian islands, linked to Atlantic meteorology.
