For a week from 22 April all donations will be doubled by the Big Give’s Green Match Fund, up to a total fundraising target of £8,000!
Africa’s birds are in trouble. As a result, and as you know, ABC has been granting Conservation Awards since 1996. This is very popular and successful with nearly 360 awards given (c.15 annually), usually of £3,000 – £5,000, across 48 African countries.
However, the number of applications always exceeds our ability to support them. From Feb 2023 – Oct 2024, we could only fund 28/151 applications (£83,000 of £441,000 requested), illustrating the potential for additional work that could be undertaken if we had more funds.
