Remarks

» Treated by some authorities as African Blue Tit, Cyanistes teneriffae. This bird belongs to the subspecies Cyanistes teneriffae teneriffae, endemic from the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera, where it is common. It was breeding in one of the crevices of a stone wall, very close to the coast. The bird in the image is carrying several larvae of diurnal Lepidoptera.
