» These feathers and the cartridges were the proof of the activity of poacher hunters at that time. Fortunately, this illegal activity, that affects some protected species (like the endemic pigeons of the Canary Islands), is now very rare. White-tailed Laurel Pigeon is a fully protected species, both in regional, national and EU legislation.
