Your donation will be used to help reforest Mount Moco, Angola’s highest mountain, a proposed new conservation area and home of the Endangered Swierstra’s Francolin. By planting trees and protecting forest from fire, woody biomass and carbon storage will increase, helping you to offset your carbon footprint. Most funds will be spent on salaries of local villagers and ALL funds will be spent in Angola, so your funds will also help support local people.

Gift Aid (Applicable to UK Tax payers ONLY)

If you are a UK TAX PAYER, you can Gift Aid your donation at no extra cost to yourself. Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give, we can reclaim 25p tax from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.

Higher Rate Tax Payers

If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can reclaim tax relief through your Self Assessment tax return, at the difference between the higher rate and the basic rate of tax.

How we can claim it.

Please check the Gift Aid box or download and complete a Gift Aid Declaration form. You must pay an amount of Income Tax and / or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the amount of tax which the Charity will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.

You can cancel the Declaration at any time by notifying us e.g. if your circumstances change and you are no longer paying tax on your income or capital. The Declaration will then not apply to donations you make on or after the date of cancellation or such later date as you specify.

If you are unsure about whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, you can visit the Inland Revenue website.

Thank you again for your kind donation.
