» Believed to be Shaft-tailed rather than Pin-tailed Whydah based on upperparts brown with indistinct streaks, edges of feathers pale; head unstreaked, and underparts rich buff; edges of tail feathers buff; throat is not white; gape swellings mostly white but light blue near the face / jc
