ABC African Checklist - May 2009

A revised version of the popular African Checklist has been uploaded. This includes information from vol 13 of HBW and takes note of website updates of the Clements, International Ornithological Congress and Birdlife lists placed onto the web over the last year or so. It also notes the new Horn of Africa guide (published by Helm) which will be available shortly.

This version includes a review of taxonomy, a more extensive review of English names and a brief review of French names to bring these more into line with the most commonly used names.
