The sixth African Bird ID Challenge has closed and the seventh will be posted early in 2008.

This is a collaborative project between the African Bird Club and Birding Africa. Through it we aim to increase interest in African birds and stimulate debate on identification.

Answers to the Sixth Challenge

The photos were of Rufous Vanga, Henst's Goshawk and Cuckoo-Roller. The answers to the questions were Warblers, Velvet Asity and Appert's Greenbul.

The winners of the challenge drawn at random were Lukas Jonkers and Paul Thompson. Congratulations to Lukas and Paul.
