This website would not have been possible without the combined efforts of a large number of club members and other enthusiasts who are committed to ornithological conservation in Africa. The development project has been a major undertaking which has required writing some 500 pages of A4 text before the addition of photographs. Many of the contributors are the foremost experts on the birds of Africa and have given their time both willingly and freely. Others have been involved in more administrative tasks such as typing and proofreading.
