Some authorities raise Annobón Paradise-Flycatcher Terpsiphone smithii but the African Bird Club treats this as a subspecies of Red-bellied Paradise-Flycatcher T. (rufiventer) smithii. Some authorities raise Fernando Po Swift Apus sladeniae but the African Bird Club treats this as a subspecies African Black Swift A. (barbatus) sladeniae. Near endemic species (found in 3 or less African countries)
