There are at least ten such articles for most West African countries, and as many as 90 for some. For more recent articles, you can find summaries and abstracts on the site. Travelling Birder has many interesting reports from the Cape Verde Islands. Fat Birder has good information and several interesting reports from the islands. Surfbirds has several reports and additional records from the Cape Verde Islands. Eurobirding provides a search capability for birding articles elsewhere, including the Cape Verde Islands Avibase has a good number of trip reports from the archipelago Le Monde de l’Ornithologie is an interesting website with some information on the Cape Verde Islands Biosfera I is an environmental organization from the Cape Verde Islands which has dedicated much effort to protect the Cape Verde Shearwater in its main breeding grounds Sociedade Caboverdiana de Zoologia is a recently created society which promotes zoological studies in the Cape Verde Islands and publishes the journal Zoologia Caboverdiana Living National Treasures has useful information on the birds and other animals of the Cape Verde Islands http://elibrary.unm.edu/sora/ is an important website to download many papers on birds published in a number of ornithological journals free of charge. There are some items about the Cape Verde Islands, as well as other Macaronesian or Mid-Atlantic archipelagos (Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands).
