Technical Details of Formats for Advertisements

The preferred file format for receiving ads is high-resolution Acrobat PDF (at least 300 dpi) or EPS: please ensure that graphics and fonts are properly embedded or fonts have been converted to paths.

If ads are sent as image files (TIF or JPG), please ensure they are of high enough quality to reproduce satisfactorily.

If native QuarkXpress 6, Pagemaker 7, or InDesign CS2 files are submitted, they must be accompanied by any linked graphics and fonts.

If Photoshop or Illustrator CS2 files are submitted, type should preferably be converted to paths. Please be aware that font substitution may occur if non-standard or non-cross-platform compatible fonts are used.
