» I currently have this little bird in a cage at my house - he was a survivor of a fallen tree and is still a baby. He's been with us since the 19th of September (the date of this photo). For a more recent photo that was taken a month later, you are welcome to check http://bosvrou.blogspot.com/. We believe that he could be a Bar-winged Weaver. Can anyone confirm this please and if so what does he like to eat? I understand they are quite rare. At present I'm feeding him with pro-nutro, insects and fruit and he seems to like them all. I would obviously like to get him to the point where he can be returned to the wild (if he's able to take care of himself) so I would like to give him the best possible care with that in mind.
